Department: Child Nutrition
Reports To: Director of Child Nutrition
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Salary: Based on current negotiatied salary schedule for support staff positions.
Minimum Job Requirements:
High School diploma or GED. Valid food handlers permit for Creek or Tulsa County. Ability to understand, read and speak English. Initiative to plan own work. Versatility to do whatever job is needed. Must be able to life 35 lbs. unassisted. Prior food service experience desired.
Description of Duties:
Preparation of quantity food items, baking, cooking, salad preparation, cleaning of kitchen equipment, dish machine operation, serving, pot washing, cashier, sweeping, and mopping. Performs other related duties as requested by the Child Nutrition Director or cafeteria manager.

- Professional cafeteria work environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, climb, operate and fix equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet but may experience higher levels of noise around equipment and/or vehicles.
- Frequent, in-distict travel between district sites.
- Some travel may be required.
- Be able to work in a wide variety of temperature and weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors; including extreme temperatures outside.
- Ability to use equipment and some machinery in a safe manner.
